Nestled in a clearing alongside the Rangitikei River, Te Para Hut provides accommodation for up to 12 people. With no electricity and limited cell phone coverage, only the dawn chorus will interrupt your peace and quiet.

A galley kitchen and gas fridge/hob and BBQ provide the basics for easy outdoor cooking. The hot gas outdoor shower brings comfort to the not so keen campers and the two long-drops are kept fresh and clean.

The Hut is your doorway to a true Kiwi experience. It is the perfect base for outdoor exploits and extreme sports, as well as exploration of the Rangitikei Area. Enjoy a private getaway, a family retreat or ask the Duncans, your hosts, to act as guides.

Te Para Hut can offer visitors equipment and access to an exciting range of activities in and around the 100 hectare property.

Costs vary depending on the number of visitors, length of stay and optional extras such as activities, equipment, food and supplies. Basic pricing starts at $150.00 per night.
